You people do realize 1984 likes to wind people up don't you?
Tokyo Dub has moved from Castle Park to Eastville Park this year, maybe LSTD will follow? Personally I hope not, I like having a city centre festival.

I've been all 3 years and I had a great time both days this year. In general I'm not a fan of motion and am also in my 30's so have been going out for years. The queue was long on the Saturday because everyone waited for the rain to stop and then go to the festival, surely that's obvious? £4 for a can of beer is the same as motion, hardly a surprise is it? I used Orderella all weekend, didn't have to queue for one drink and was OK with the prices. DJ EZ was probably booked by The Dance Off Crew, and that's why he appeared on that stage. But yeah, it was a little busy... Security seemed fine on the way in, no over the top searching. Only real downer is the state of Castle Park, but they dealt with the wet weather pretty well at the time I thought, putting down hay everywhere. There weren't any complaints about the park last year when it was sunny, weather is out of their control. I'll be buying tickets again next year. These are all good ideas to fix the problem, but are all just work arounds. Better off getting the correct size frame than changing all the other components as a compromise IMO.

I'm intrigued to find out my power output. I'm a skinny short guy so it's probably not huge but might be ok when related to weight.
I'm somewhat less interested in turbo trainers. I lated 15 min before destroying a tyre and giving up forever.
I quite like the turbo as long as I do something structured, like using traineroad of sufferfest videos or something, Just sitting there spinning is pretty dull, you need to actively try to make yourself throw up really. What turbo do you have? I have always been tempted to get one as my riding out put goes down to non existent over the winter. I've got one of these that's been collecting dust recently, you can have it for £60 http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/accessories/resistance-trainer/product/review-tacx-sirius-trainer-12-15586/If no one else wants it - baggsy! (seriously, DM me) This is still available if anyone wants it. No reply from Sherlock Ohms

Ha ha, well I am a not skinny short guy so we will have to see - I would have thought your FTP/kg would be more than ok judging by your strava hill climbing exploits! I am as intrigued as you so I have just hired a powertap wheel for 3 months from cyclepowermeters - £54 a month, quite expensive but if it keeps from joining a gym its not too bad. Will do an FTP test on Saturday and see where I am, I feel alot more feeble that I did even 3 weeks ago since it started raining. I quite like the turbo as long as I do something structured, like using traineroad of sufferfest videos or something, Just sitting there spinning is pretty dull, you need to actively try to make yourself throw up really. Everyone I know that has a turbo uses sufferfest. Must be something in it. £54p/m, ooof, that's steep! I'm assuming you get all the computer stuff to measure it with? We should organise a Hijack road outing, up and over the Mendips. A guy from my triathlon club did every sufferfest video, back to back!

Ah sorry, missed that last night! Hmmmm... I ride a 54cm and I'm 5ft 8. I'd normally put someone of your height on 58/60cm. Let me check the geometry on your links.
I've got a 54cm atm which seems to fit ok leg wise (Obviously with the seat up a reasonable amount) is it the top tube length I need to look at more than the frame height? Yep, i'm also 5ft 8 and ride a 54 it's the top tube length you need to look at. Unless you have a short torso for your hight you'd definitely need a longer frame.

250 Mugs at £12 each (unfeasable if you ask me) = £3000. Wheres the rest going?
It says £2000+ note the plus sign! Anyway who are "they" that have failed in their Court action? Spotted this email in my inbox this morning, here is the extra info you were asking for...
Nearly £2500 costs were awarded against the No Tesco Campaign.
So under £2500... so whats happening to the potential £500+ profit from the mugs buying the mugs with poorly stuck on bits of paper, what will it go towards? You really think they're going to sell all 250?

Does this thread now contain spoilers? I've had to avert my eyes from the last 3 posts... It was on last night, what do you think we were talking about? No it's on tonight. Sky Atlantic? What channel was it on last night?? It was on AMC on Sunday night.

How did you get on, Toph?
I did 82 miles today, I'm pretty fucked.
Dundry finished me off!
86miles I think. That 14% hill was fun up to the monument. Dundry's always a killer after 75miles! Got sunburnt.

Anyone here using Endomondo should really check out www.strava.comVery similar concept, but you can add segments to your ride which then has a leaderboard compared to your other rides and other riders. Export a ride from Endo, sign up to strava and upload the ride to check it out. It's awesome. And if you do let us know so that we can follow each other.
