Welcome to the part of Hijack where you can link your tunes and your mixes. If you have a track or a mix that you'd like to share, please create a new topic with the full URL included in the body.
At the current time, we do not have space to host any material on our server, so you should find somewhere to upload if you can.
If you're really stuck, PM Lata who may be able to help you out with some storage space!
Show us what yer made of!

After signing up with http://www.acidplanet.com earlier today i can say i thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking to get their tracks online. after uploading your track(s) they are available instantly (as pointed out by Bios).. the site runs smoothly, looks good and there are many useful bits connected to your profile / song. the ability to leave reviews for a song is great amongst other things. now if only they'd allow 100mB filesize for those mixes

Sure thing, I reckon between us all we'll find hosting! Hey, by the way anything is welcome even if it is a fun bootleg remix for a party or a few loops.

at some point, one of us should locate some sort of melodic sample (string, pad sequence, vocal line or something)... and then all of us use it in a track (base the track around it) and we could see what we come out with.
alternaively if anyone has a track that they fancy putting up for a remix then we can fuck about with that....
waddya reckon?

I'm not bothered about what format - I'm just gonna put the file on a server... But I'd suggest a 128k mp3, should readable by everyone and not too huge (good for me, and good for the slow d/l crew).

hey guys I'm a vocalist/producer from Australia. I'm in the process of writing lots of vocal tracks to suit triphop/dubstep/breakbeat type stuff. I'm looking to put together an EP of originals, and wanted to get other interested artists on board. I've already had a release through Ministry of Sound in Australia. I'm going to be moving to the UK next year cause I'm serious about the Bristol vibe and the music. So PLEASE hit me up if you're interested in a collaboration, or if you have any tips on where i can soak up some good music/living places once I'm there! www.myspace.com/laurenneko

Check out the Cornelius Jones EP OUT NOW on ABAGA Records! Available from: http://www.itunes.comhttp://www.junodownload.comhttp://www.beatport.comhttp://www.amazon.comPreview: http://soundcloud.com/abaga-records/sets/cornelius-jones-ep/The Mighty Cornelius' long-awaited release, 'The Cornelius Jones EP' is an eclectic mix of reggae chords and smooth vocals, abrasive riffs and jazz trumpet. Expect the unexpected in this mixed bag of dustup sounds. The EP's first track is the deep 'Blood On The Tiles'. This track contrasts moody baselines and jazz riffs with four-to-the-floor beats and warm analogue synth sounds. Radio 1's Ally McCrae described it as 'some beautiful, soulful electronica.' ''Far From Home' shows The Mighty Cornelius' reggae influences with a dubby number that would not sound out of place in Kingston 1977. The intricate guitar parts give this piece sonic complexity not normally seen in modern dustup. 'Earth Boy' is abrasive in all ways, from the brooding chords to the aggressive lead. All of this is underpinned by a solid, mechanical drum-beat. The EP ends with the full vocal mix of 'Far From Home', which features the prodigious vocal talents of Fiona Lynch. This provides relief from the sonic assault of 'Earth Boy', and completes the EP melodically and soulfully. 'The Cornelius Jones EP' leaves us totally satisfied, and yet desperate for more. I have been looking for a good Bristol forum for a while so I'm quite glad I stumbled across this one. I've been making 'kinda dance music' for a bit now, but I seem to be having a few problems, the main one is the big Dubstep scene in Bristol, it seems to swallow up every available space that I can hear at the moment. Which for some people I can imagine is a blessing, though for me it's proving to be a little inconvenience as the stuff I'm making is not exactly the kind of stuff you would hear in these sorts of places. Any tips or advice of an alternative outlet for a more 'Prog-House/Electro'? ... If you would like to hear anything I have been making, most of it is on Soundcloud and all other relevent sites etc...
