Thats exactly the sound i was going for mate, I like it rough. But if by abrasive you mean ear hurting, I'll look into it, because obviously thats not what i want

don't think it's ear hurting but i'm only listening on small speakers... test probably is how quickly your ears got fatigued when you were making it Smiley
