Hi dudes,

Back with another 80s mix; this is the last!  After five mixes, and some 65+ songs, I think I've pretty much hit the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality, predominantly synth-driven 80s classics, so it's time to call it quits... it's been fun!  Anyways, enough eulogizing-enjoy the hits!

1) Dire Straits - Money For Nothing
2) Huey Lewis and the News - I Want A New Drug
3) Duran Duran - My Own Way *in their 4th appearance!  (could DD be THE quintessential 80s band?)
4) Van Halen - I'll Waitftp://
5) Vangelis - Chariots of Fire
6) The Cars - Drive
7) Visage - Fade to Grey
8 ) OMD - Enola Gay
9) Falco - Der Kommisar
10) Rockwell Ft. Michael Jackson - Somebody's Watching Me
11) Jeffrey Osbourne - Stay With Me Tonight
12) Pointer Sisters - Automatic
13) ABC - Poison Arrow
14) A-Ha - Take On Me
15) Hall and Oates - One On One *Hat trick for H & O!
16) Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes - (I've Had) The Time of My Life

...and indeed I have!

Glad you caught it just the same!  Would've been a shame if you didn't get the last one! Two Thumbs

(I can upload I-IV on request)

Do it!  Cool

Been looking for not-too-horrendously-cheesy 80s mixes recently - this one blatantly the best I've found!

Glad you found something fitting that "not too cheesy" bill.  All of my 80s mixes have attempted to walk that fine line between catchy classic, and unpalatable cheese, with the occasionally more obscure hit thrown in for good measure (usual obscure in that it might have been big in the US, but not UK).  Anyways, I'm happy to upload them.  I'll put them up in reverse chronological order (may take a few days to get them all up).

I am so on this!  Even if you've finished with the 80s I hope that there is still more to come!  How about some 90-93 mixes?

Ok, so ALL 5 are now uploaded! (all links above work..for now. The links don't last too long, so if you want them, don't put it off [of course I can always put them up again, but it takes forever]).

While I don't intend to do any more mixes in the vein of these, I do plan to re-do 80s I (whose quality is pretty terrible in these 320kbps days), and I was also thinking of doing an 80s B-side mix i.e. all the songs that didn't make it onto 1-5.  Just an idea.  In the meantime, revisit the older mixes, or get acquainted for the firs time Cheesy
